In the Footsteps of Those Who Came Before
A Tiger Bunyip who has lived within a commune consisting of 11 other bunyips of various type for his entire life. His "warren" was in place before the Firsts and considers themselves to be superior to the human population. They do not purposfully alineate
Ygret lives with 11 other bunyips in a small village located near *(GM decision?) called Halo. While not actually related to one another, these 12 are the only family any of them have ever known. They are not violent community as a whole, but each individual member tends to lean more towards its animal instinct in most situations including hunting. The main exception is social interaction, as each member cannot afford to attempt life as an individual without the whole. A nearby warren has precarious relationship with Halo. The warren will leave foodstuffs and useful items in exchange for protection from Bruisers and, in the human’s mind, the bunyips themselves.

Afterwards, Halo would have nothing to do Ygret and he was forced to leave his community and make his home, and peace, with the humans of Bamal. Several days into his exile, Ygret caught the scent of a small animal and began to hunt for his dinner. When he sensed it near, he hid in the brush and waited for his moment. A group of Bruisers appeared from a clearing without any hint towards their arrival and Ygret, curious of this new obstacle began to watch the newcomers as well. The Bruisers had seemed to be settling in for the night, inside a small lair. Then he saw his prey sneak quietly into the lair behind the Bruisers. Quite intrigued by the brashness of this animal, he studied it as best he could and saw that the animal was remarkably similar to a human child. Before he could confirm, the small human child disappeared into the darkness, only to return a few moments later running at full tilt with several angry Bruisers following. With a better vantage point to see the small creature, Ygret saw the similarities as too great a coincidence and sprang from his hiding spot, snatching the small creature in his jaw and ran back towards the direction the offenders had come from.
Once free from their pursuers, Ygret placed the small creature down and introduced himself. He learned that the creature was not a human, but Kilaear named Chiru. Chiru did however have a human friend at their campsite, and Ygret was more than willing to join with Chiru to see the human.
